Recruitment

JoyceLaw provides exceptional career opportunities for our lawyers. We believe that professional and personal growth of individuals require that they develop into effective communicators and problem solvers with strong values. JoyceLaw is committed to enabling and empowering each individual in our team to become highly effective professionals with strong market reputation, respected for excellence, thought leadership and problem-solving ability.

We are keen to hear from lawyers (and soon to be lawyers) with good academics, excellent research, analytical, writing and spoken communication skills, passion, quest for learning, initiative, and a desire to excel consistently.

Under our recruitment policy for fresh graduates and A0s, we require a mandatory assessment internship for a period of 6 to 8 weeks. If you are interested in a career at JoyceLaw, please email your CV, cover letter and two original writing samples to recruitment@joycelaw.in.

What we look for in writing samples is research and analysis on core law concepts/topics (e.g., concepts under law of contracts, transfer of property, sale of goods, law of torts, etc.)

Internship

At JoyceLaw, we offer our interns an opportunity to gain real-world exposure, underscoring the firm’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent. Interns work closely with the team under the guidance of Associates and Partners. A fresh law graduate who joins a corporate law firm is expected to produce work capable of being incorporated into the firm’s advise to clients. The objective of our internship programme is to enable our interns to gain relevant insight to help prepare themselves for a corporate law firm career.

In recruitment, we give priority to candidates who have interned with us.

The eligibility criteria to get an internship at JoyceLaw are that applicants should be in their 3rd year or above in a five-year law course, or in the 2nd year or above in a three-year course, and excellent academics.

We take in up to 3 interns for each internship slot. If you are interested in an internship at JoyceLaw, please email your CV and cover letter to internship@joycelaw.in at least two to three months before the requested time.

We evaluate each application carefully and try to respond a month before the beginning of the slot.
